Easy Gluten Free Crackers

These crackers are great for everyone, made from just plants and love. Crunchy, healthy, fresh, and as tasty as we make them.

Active Time: 10-15 mins

Tools: large mixing bowl, baking tray, parchment paper, roller pin, cookie cutter, imagination

Ingredients:

DRY:

  • 1 cup buckwheat flour

  •  1 T flax, freshly ground

  •  1 T nutritional yeast

  •  1/4 t  Himalayan salt

  •  1/2 t baking powder

  •  1 t onion powder

  • 1 t rosemary/thyme OR any other herbs/spices

WET:

  •  2 T Olive/Avocado Oil

  •  5 T warm water OR veggie broth

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 160C/350F.

  2. Combine buckwheat flour with the rest of the dry ingredients.

  3. Add the oil and water one spoonful at a time. Mix into a thick dough and knead well.

  4. Prepare one piece of parchment paper that is placed on the board. Place the dough on the parchment lined baking tray, flatten it with your hand and cover with another piece of parchment paper. Thinly roll the dough (1/4 inches) out to a cracker perfect thickness. Remove the top parchment after the dough is rolled out.

  5. Using a cookie cutter (or just a knife). cut the dough into shapes You desire.

  6. Bake for 25-30 mins..

  7. Let the crackers cool down.

  8. Store in a sealed glass jar.
